Section 2.3.2 of the RFP from pages 75 to 78 provides a detailed list of items that the required submissions for the Record Drawings and Documentation. These pages define the Record Drawings and Submissions as the final drawings used for construction including all supporting documentation, calculations and design reports and so on. Chapter 4 of the RFP, page 738 provides a definition for Record Drawings and Documentation that implies these are the red-line or marked copies of the Issued For Construction drawings. Additionally these marked-up drawings need to be verified and stamped by a Professional Engineer. This is a different definition from section 2.3.2. Please provide clarification on the following: As Section 2 takes precedence over Section 4 in the event of a conflict, are we correct in interpreting the RFP documents such that we are not required to provided marked up drawings that have been verified and stamped by a Professional Engineer. As built drawings would still be provided as per the GC’s, but they would not be stamped by a Professional Engineer. We are advised by our Designers that in order for them to provide review engineer services to sign and seal drawings highlighting the distinction/change from the signed as-built, this will require frequent or continuous presence on site in some cases. The cost of these services will be significant.
