Section 1.4 The Project states the following: This project is to: - Reconstruct the QEW/Glendale Avenue Interchange to a Diverging Diamond Interchange; - Reconstruct the Glendale Avenue/York Road Intersection to a single-lane roundabout with Channelization; - Construct a new Airport Road loop ramp and connection road from Glendale Avenue to York Road/Airport Road Intersection; - Construct a new commuter carpool lot at the northwest quadrant of the Interchange; - Rehabilitate the pavement on the QEW EB and WB lanes between the east end of Garden City Skyway bridge and QEW/Highway 405 split (~3.0km); and - Extend the right-hand turning lane of Glendale Avenue between Taylor Road and Niagara-on-the-Green Boulevard. Section 1.4 The Project shows the figure attached. As noted above, the scope to rehabilitate the pavement on the QEW EB and WB lanes between the east end of Garden City Skyway bridge and QEW/Highway 405 split (~3.0km) is not consistent with the limits of the contract shown in the figure. Could the Sponsor please clarify the limits of construction and define the rehabilitation scope required within the limits?

It is typical for the contract limits to be approximately 2km beyond the new construction limits. Please refer to the Contract Drawings (Document #29B) for the scope and limits of rehabilitation on the QEW.
